PATRICK CARROLL, Contemporary Realist Artist
Born 1949, Bathurst
Patrick painted from an early age but decided to take on full-time painting as a career in 1974.
Apart from staging over 40 solo exhibitions and numerous group shows Patrick has also received in excess of 100 awards and commendations for his paintings, many of which have been short listed for some of the most prestigious Art Awards in Australia.

In between these career highlights and struggles all professional artists go through, Patrick travels extensively to search for new and challenging subject matter. He has found inspiration not only in his homeland but in France, Amsterdam, Ireland, Berlin, Venice and Uruguay.
